Premier Stephen McNeil and his Liberal caucus are in the Amherst area for three days of meetings.
AMHERST – Members of the Nova Scotia Liberal Caucus are spending three days in Amherst and surrounding areas attending meetings with local community groups, municipal leaders, and business owners.
“Having the entire Government Caucus visiting Cumberland County is an excellent opportunity to hear the concerns of residents from throughout the area,” said Terry Farrell, MLA for Cumberland North. “There are many challenges facing the area and I am pleased that our Caucus is committed to finding long-term solutions to ensure a vibrant future for northern Nova Scotia.
Between Tuesday and Thursday, Liberal MLAs will take part in over 50 meetings, in and around Amherst, with local leaders, business and community groups, including those involved with; economic development, healthcare, and education.
