Following errant phone message she received in April

AMHERST – A Cumberland County woman, mocked by RCMP officers in an errant voicemail, is complaining to the federal Human Rights Commission.

The unidentified woman, who already filed a complaint to the RCMP complaints commission, told the CBC she doesn’t feel safe in her own country.

The woman, who lives near Parrsboro, filed the complaint after receiving a phone message two RCMP officers inadvertently left for her. They were investigating a domestic abuse complaint she made against her former boyfried.

She said a shed on her property was broken into after she went public last month, but she didn’t call police for fear the officers she complained about would respond.
