HALIFAX - Police are looking for a woman who robbed a north-end Halifax drug store on Tuesday during the lunch hour.

Halifax Regional Police spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages says police were called to the Lawtons Drugs on Duffus Street around 12:30 p.m. after a woman in her 20s went inside to the pharmacy counter and demanded drugs from a worker.

Police say an unknown amount of drugs was given to the woman, who fled the store on foot.

No one was injured and Bourdages said no weapon was seen.

The suspect is described as a white woman who was wearing a dark blue coat with a pink shirt underneath it.
