Estabrooks sentenced to eight months custody

AMHERST – Justin Bertie Estabrooks, 20, of Brentwood Estates, Amherst, was sentenced in court on Tuesday to eight months custody after pleading guilty to 14 separate charges.

Estabrooks was sentenced to eight months custody, concurrent to other sentences, followed by two years probation and a 10-year weapons prohibition, after pleading guilty to the possession of Hydromorphine for the purpose of trafficking.

The incident occurred Jan. 17, 2013, in Amherst.

He was also sentenced to 20-days custody, concurrent, after pleading guilty to the possession of Hydromorphine.

The incident occurred Feb. 13, 2013, in Amherst.

He was also sentenced to 30-days custody, consecutive, after pleading guilty to raising a fist at a female to knowingly convey a threat to cause bodily harm to the female.

He was also sentenced to 25-days custody for stealing cash from the female he threatened, the value of which did not exceed $5,000.

Estabrooks was sentenced to 10-days custody, consecutive after pleading guilty to committing mischief by willfully damaging a bedroom wall belonging to the female he threatened, the value of which did not exceed $5,000.

He was sentenced to a further 30-days custody, consecutive, after pleading guilty to failing without lawful excuse to comply with an order to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

The incidents occurred July 28, 2013, in Truemanville.

Estabrooks also sentenced to 40-days custody, consecutive, followed by two years probation, after pleading guilty to three charges. First, stealing sunglasses, the value of which did not exceed $5,000, from the Circle K, second, failing without lawful excuse to comply with a condition to not possess or consume alcohol and not to possess or consume drugs, except in accordance with a medical prescription, and, three, failing to comply with a condition to remain at his place of residence except for the purpose of attending work, court and health purposes.

The incidents occurred April 12, 2014, in Amherst.

He was also sentenced to one day custody deemed served by attending court, after pleading guilty to failing without lawful excuse to comply with a condition to remain at his place of residence at all times.

The incident occurred March 20, 2014, in Amherst.

Estabrooks was also sentenced to 20-days custody, consecutive, followed by two-years probation, after pleading guilty to stealing two Cover Girl make-up items, the property of Lawton’s Drug Store, the value of which did not exceed $5,000.

The incident occurred Dec. 5, 2012, in Amherst.

He was also sentenced to 20-days custody, consecutive, followed by two years probation, after pleading guilty to stealing an iPhone 5 from a male, the value of which did not exceed $5,000.

The incident occurred Dec. 13, 2012.

Estabrooks was also sentenced to 30-days custody, consecutive, after pleading guilty to failing without lawful excuse to comply with a condition to abstain from the consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

The incident occurred March 16, 2013, in Truemanville.

He was also sentenced to 35-days custody, consecutive, after pleading guilty to failing without lawful excuse to not associate with a person who has a Youth Criminal Justice Act record by associating with a person with a YCJA record.

The incident occurred Aug. 1, 2013, in Amherst.
