Berry fined $2,300

Jonathan Daniel Berry, 20, of Hammond Plains, Halifax, was fined $2,300 or 27 days in jail after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 millilitres.
Berry was also sentenced to 12-months probation with conditions and prohibited from driving for two-years.
The incident occurred August 19, 2013, in Amherst.
Runions remanded to jail
Terrence Rodney Runions, 25, of Athol, was remanded into custody until April 7, when he will appear in court to answer to charges of robbing Michael Sommers of a sum of money and threatening and/or menacing Michael Sommers.
The alleged incident occurred April 2, in Springhill.
