Man hit multiple times in Dartmouth shooting, police on hunt for two suspects

DARTMOUTH - Police in Halifax are on the hunt for two suspects after a shooting Wednesday night.

Reports came in to police of several shots being fired around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Brad Dor Lane in Dartmouth.

Officers arrived on scene and found a 24-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to the QEII hospital in Halifax with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say both suspects fled on foot and a K9 team was brought in to search the area.

The suspects are described as black men in their early 20s, about five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine. Both were said to be wearing dark clothing.

No weapon has been found and police are continuing to investigate.
