The Jacques Cartier Arena gets a $5,000 operating grant, the Alberton Development Corporation gets $1,500 and $1,000 goes to the Alberton Business Association.
Also approved was a two per cent cost of living wage increase for all full time staff members presently employed with the town.
The sewer account operating budget was approved in the amount of $145,500. Council approved a motion to loan the sewer account $95,570 to cover the town’s share of a sewer replacement project on Argyle and Central Streets and Elizabeth Drive.
