Bryan Adams to perform at Centre 200

SYDNEY — Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams will perform at Centre 200 in Sydney, April 28 as part of an acoustic concert tour in Atlantic Canada.

The tour, announced this morning, is being presented by Evenko and Live Nation and Adams will also make stops in St. John's, N.L., Summerside, P.E.I., Moncton, N.B., and Saint John, N.B.

Tickets for the Sydney show will go on sale Friday (March 14) at 11 a.m. and will be available at the Centre 200 box office, by calling 564-2200 and online at tickets.capebreton.ca and evenko.ca. Tickets range from $52- $87, including tax and applicable surcharge.

Adams’ outstanding live concerts have established him as one of the world's best rock singers, performing over 120 concerts a year. His latest release "Bare Bones" is a collection of live recordings culled from the acoustic tour and Adams’ new spin on his classic hits has been met with rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

    He puts on quite a show, caught him over 10 years ago, and it was one of the best concerts I'd ever seen, it was at C200 as well. Colin James opened for him, and was terrific as well.

    This would be a good show if he was bringing his band. But it sounds like it's going to be just him and his guitar. I'd be asleep by the 3rd song. Pass.
