Several people charged recently with drug offences as part of a major joint forces drug investigation known as Operation Clean Sweep appeared briefly in provincial court Monday.

Some others did not appear but were represented by defence counsel. Virtually all of the accused had their cases adjourned for election and/or plea until March 26.

Those whose cases were called Monday included the following:

Jeffrey Grant Flynn, age 34, of Charlottetown, charged with two counts of trafficking hydromorphone, one count of possession of hydromorphone.

Scott Frederick Gallant, age 38, of Mermaid, charged with one count of trafficking hydromorphone, two counts of uttering threats and one count of possession of marijuana.

Sarah Ann Gay, age 30, of Hazelbrook, charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.

Matthew Joseph Gennis, 25, of Stratford, charged with two counts of trafficking hydromorphone.

Caitlyn Elizabeth Keenan, 23, of Cornwall, charged with one count of trafficking hydromorphone and one count of breach of an undertaking.

Allan Christopher Lee, 42, of Moncton, charged with three counts of trafficking hydromorphone.

Venus Vanessa Levi, 41, Charlottetown, charged with two counts of trafficking hydromorphone, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone.

Tanya Marie MacLean, 28, Charlottetown, charged with one count of trafficking hydromorphone, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Aaron Matthews, 31, of Moncton, charged with two counts of trafficking hydromorphone.

Darren Ernest Ross, 42, of Montague, charged with two counts of trafficking hydromorphone.

Also appearing was Tanya Marie MacDonald, age 37, of Donaldston, who had been charged with three drug counts and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon.
