Collins sentenced to seven months custody for assault causing bodily harm
AMHERST – Zachary Luc Collins, 21, of Spencer’s Island, was sentenced in court last week to seven months custody after pleading guilty to six different charges, including assault causing bodily harm.
Collins was sentenced to seven months custody, concurrent to any sentence currently being served, followed by 12 months probation and a $100 victim fine, after pleading guilty to uttering a threat to a female to damage her automobile.
The incident occurred June 30, 2013, in Spencer’s Island.
He was also sentenced seven months custody concurrent to each other and to other sentences imposed, followed by 12 months probation and a $100 victim fine, after pleading guilty to five charges.
He pleaded guilty to committing assault on a second female, uttering a threat to cause bodily harm to a third female, and committing the indictable offence of assault by attempting to choke the third female by placing his hands around her throat
The incidents occurred between, Oct. 1, and Dec. 28, in Spencer’s Island.
He also pleaded guilty to committing mischief by ramming, without legal justification or excuse, the rear bumper of a vehicle belonging to the third female, the value of which did not exceed $5,000, and committing assault upon the third female, causing bodily harm to her.
The incidents occurred between, Oct. 1, and Dec. 28, in Apple River.
