AMHERST – Snow is in the forecast but not in the amounts the rest of the province are expecting to get.

Environment Canada forecasts now amount between 10 and 15 cm for the south of the province, including Halifax, starting this morning and into the evening while northern Nova Scotia can expect snow beginning this morning, but only 5 cm, and a daytime high of minus 7.
A few flurries will end early this evening then partly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. Wind becoming southwest 20 km/h then west 30 gusting to 50 near midnight. Low minus 14.
