HALIFAX - Police are looking for a 20-year-old man after a shooting in Clayton Park early Monday morning.

Police are looking for a stolen car after a 53-year-old man was shot at Monday morning outside the Quality Inn in Clayton Park.
At 5:50 a.m., police responded to a report of shots being fired in the parking lot of the Quality Inn on Parkland Drive.
According to a release, a 53-year-old man had gotten into an argument with another man he knew. The suspect assaulted the 53-year-old and fired several shots, but none hit him.
Police said the victim went to a nearby business where he called police. The suspect took the victimâs car, drove away, and has not been found.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics, said the release.
Police are now looking for the victimâs yellow Pontiac Aztek. The suspect is described as a 20-year-old Middle Eastern man with a thin build, 5â10â, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing all dark clothing.
The suspect is believed to be armed, and police said citizens should not approach him but call 911 if they see the car.
Investigators with the Halifax Regional Police/RCMP general investigation section are in the early stages of the case, and anyone with information is asked to contact HRP at 490-5020.
