AMHERST – Cumberland RCMP have arrested three adults in connection to several break, enter and thefts in November and December.

Several businesses were affected with a quantity of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets taken.

The joint investigation, involving Amherst RCMP and the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, led to the seizure of some stolen property.

Allie Patricia White, 21, of Amherst was arrested Monday and is facing three charges of break and enter with intent to commit and indictable offence, one charge of wearing a disguise to commit and indictable offence and several charges of possession of stolen property.

She was released on an undertaking and ordered to return to court on Jan. 6 to enter a plea.

A 27-year-old Dieppe man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with breaching his parole. He was returned to federal custody until his statuatory release. Charges will be laid at a later time.

Travis William Blanchard, 21, of Amherst is facing four charges of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, single charges of wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, theft of a motor vehicle, several charges of possession of stolen property and two charges of breaching a court undertaking.

He is remanded into custody until Jan. 6 when he’ll appear in provincial court for a bail hearing.

The investigation is continuing.
