A large contingent of volunteers turned out to pack Christmas Hampers at the Salvation Army Food Bank on Tuesday.
A total of 231 Christmas hampers were prepared, with volunteers helping brighten the season by delivering the hampers today and tomorrow. While distribution of the Food Hampers is handled, Captain Michael Ramsay reminds the community that their Christmas Campaign remains in full swing.
Salvation Army Kettles will remain at various locations around Swift Current until Christmas Eve, and they still have a fair way to go in order to meet their campaign goal of $175,000.
Individuals donating at the Salvation Army Kettle at Swift Current's Wal Mart on Saturday, Dec. 21 will have an extra impact, as Wal Mart is matching all donations given that day.
