AMHERST – Campbell’s Funeral Home is offering a book of condolence in memory of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
Mandela, who led the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa before becoming president upon his release from prison, died last Thursday.
World leaders are congregating in South Africa this week to say good bye to the man who was the first black South African to hold office and led the first fully represented democratic government there.
Members of the community can pay their respects to Mandela by visiting the funeral home at 98 Church St. until Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. A Book of Remembrance will be sent to the Mandela family expressing the community’s condolences.
