Flea market

DEC. 1 – Royal Canadian Legion, Truro. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission: $1.

Jamboree

DEC. 1 – South Branch Community Church. 2 to 4 p.m. Featuring Old-Tyme Country and others. All proceeds for the church.

Open mike

DEC. 1 – Warwick Mountain Recreation Club.  2 to 5 p.m. Local talent, bake table, 50/50 draw, door prize, canteen. Free-will donation. All funds for building maintenance.

Festival of carols

DEC. 1 – Hosted by the Canadian Bible Society’s Truro branch. 7 p.m. St. David’s United Church, Pictou Road, Bible Hill. Fellowship to follow in the lower hall.

Christmas Gospel concert

DEC. 1 – Nuttby United Baptist Church. 2 p.m. Featuring Bill and Susan Huey. Refreshments. Free-will offering.

Tea and bazzar

DEC. 1 – Royal Canadian Legion, Tatamagouche. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tea, sweets, sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hosted by the legion’s ladies auxiliary.

Christmas gospel concert

DEC. 1 – Nuttby United Baptist Church. Featuring Bill and Susan Hey. 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Free-will offering.
