Const. Tom Wood has begun his Cram A Cruiser event in support of Empowering Beyond Barriers and the Amehrst Food Bank.

Const. Tom Wood of the Amherst Police Department puts food collected at Spring Street Academy in the back of his cruiser. Wood will be at West Highlands today from 1 to 2 p.m. and E.B. Chandler from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. collecting food and gently used winter closthing. The Cram a Cruiser event continues tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at Walmart and again Friday at Sobeys.

AMHERST – Const. Tom Wood has begun his Cram A Cruiser event in support of Empowering Beyond Barriers and the Amehrst Food Bank.

The Amherst police officer was at Spring Street Academy early Thursday collecting food and gently used winter clothing donations for the society and the food bank.

Wood will be at West Highlands from 1 to 2 p.m. today and Walmart tonight from 5 to 8 p.m.

He will be at Sobeys on Friday at 5 to 8 p.m.
