HALIFAX — Police say they have arrested two men wanted by authorities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Andrew Hudder and Brandon Mombourquette were taken into custody after a traffic stop Wednesday in north-end Halifax.

Police say they were in a pickup truck with a third man who was also arrested.

New Brunswick RCMP issued arrest warrants in September for two men described as armed and dangerous.

Mombourquette is wanted for weapons offences in 2009, while the 26-year-old Hudder is a suspect in a drive-by shooting in Halifax last November.

Police say additional charges are expected to be laid at a later date.
