Are you paying attention Geoff MacLellan ? The govt should be paying the shot for kids to go to university to be a doctor with a program much like the military. Upon graduation, the student has to commit to 5 years in the area at a pre-determined wage otherwise pay-back all of the money. Imagine the benefits. Most of these new doctors would buy houses, cars, start a family and would likely never leave. It seems to be a simple solution to a never ending problem.
