Arrest made after woman found stabbed in Halifax: police

HALIFAX (CP) — Police in Halifax are investigating a stabbing in the city’s north end that left a woman with injuries.

Officers were called to a disturbance on Gottingen Street just after 8 a.m. today.

They found a 37-year-old woman, who they say had been stabbed after an argument with another woman she knows.

A 46-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and the victim was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a knife was recovered in the area.
