NORTH SYDNEY â€” RCMP have charged a 16-year-old male driver for stunting after he reached a speed of 167-km/h in a 100-km/h zone on Thursday.
The charges were laid while Cape Breton Traffic Services were conducting speed enforcement on Highway 125 near Exit 2.
The driver from North Sydney has been immediately suspended from driving for a minimum period of one week.
His car was also seized for one week.
If there is a conviction, there will be a fine of $2412.41 and an automatic six points will be assigned to his drivers record.
