SYDNEY — The centenary blessing from Pope Francis for St. Mary’s Polish Church will be presented Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. mass.

The blessing will thereafter be displayed in the church.

Following mass, everyone is invited to a free lunch downstairs in the church, provided by the St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society.

Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food bank item as part of the parish's Sto Darów community service project.

After lunch, there will be one of the final opportunities to visit and view “Sto Lat — The First Century of St. Mary’s Polish Parish” — the temporary exhibit in the Polish Village Hall. In conjunction with Cape Breton University, the exhibit is being made “virtual” and will soon be accessible on the parish website.
