RCMP ask for help after finding headstone behind recycling shop

HALIFAX (CP) — Police in the Halifax area are asking if anyone might know where a headstone they found belongs.

The RCMP say the headstone was found at about noon on Sept. 19 behind a recycling shop near Highway 7 and Maclaughlin Road in the Halifax suburb of Westphal.

Police say the headstone lists the names of Andrew and Catherine Cuthbert, with the years of death listed as 1961 for Andrew and 1966 for Catherine.

The RCMP are asking anyone who might know where the stone belongs to contact them so they can return it to its proper place.
