CarStar Comes to Amherst

CarStar, a collision and glass service store, had its grand opening this past Saturday. It is located in the Amherst Industrial Park at 1 Tantramar Court. 

AMHERST-The Town of Amherst welcomed a new business into the fold Saturday.

“On behalf of the Amherst Town Council, I would like to welcome CarStar into the Amherst business community,” stated deputy mayor George Baker. “It is businesses like this that make Amherst such a great community to live in.”

In addition to Baker, fellow Amherst Town Councillor Dave March was also on hand for the ribbon cutting, as was Allan MacKenzie, Marty Upham, Jane Upham, Rick Upham, Rob Anderson , Mike Snowdon and Bill Kane from the Food Bank.

In addition, the collision and glass service store hosted a charity barbecue. Donations were also made to the Amherst Food Bank. Visit www.carstar.ca
