Two injured in motorcycle mishap

At 10:40 p.m. last night, Sept. 12, Halifax Regional Police officers responded to a call of a single vehicle accident in the 600 block of Purcell’s Cove Road. It appears that a motorcycle carrying two people was travelling inbound on Purcell’s Cove Road when it failed to negotiate a turn and struck a guardrail. Both passengers were thrown off of the motorcycle, over the guardrail and down an embankment. A 21-year-old male and a 19-year-old female were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
