The following is a list of events happening across Cape Breotn on Friday, Sept. 13.

BOISDALE

8 p.m., (CD) AA Boisdale Serenity meeting, 2457 Bourinot Rd.

IONA

6-7 p.m., Iona Legion evening supper. Everyone welcome. Followed by ceilidh.

SYDNEY MINES

7 p.m.-12 a.m., Emily Fitzgerald's Jamboree with music and friends, KOC. Free admission Lunch served.

8 p.m.-12 a.m., Jackpot Karoake with P&P at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 008.

WAGMATCOOK

5-6 p.m., Wagmatcook Native Walkers Program at the Wagmatcook Culture & Heritage Centre. No charge.

DOMINION

° 7 p.m., Dominion Booters will meet at the Marcia Fiolek Park for walkabout. Everyone welcome.

° 7:30 p.m., Doubles cribbage tournament, Community Hawks Club, Lower Mitchell Avenue.

GARDINER MINES

° 8 p.m., Card game, Gardiner Mines Senior Citizens and Pensioners Hall, Seaside Drive. Cash jackpot. Free tea/coffee.

GLACE BAY

° 8 p.m., AA meeting by the Alano group, rear McKeen Street.

LOUISBOURG

° 8 p.m., J.P. Cormier will perform at the Louisbourg Playhouse.

MAIN-A-DIEU

° 9:30 a.m., Crafters Club, Main-a-Dieu Coastal Discovery Centre.

NEW WATERFORD

° 8 p.m., Tarabish, New Waterford Pensioners Club.

RESERVE MINES

° 9 p.m.-1 a.m., Karaoke, Reserve Pensioners Club.

MARION BRIDGE

° 4-7 p.m., Community market, Mira Seniors and Pensioners Centre. Regular vendors along with some new ones welcome. Refreshments available.

PORT HASTINGS

° 7 p.m., Evening of music with Ray and Kay Horton, Starlight Quartet - Cape Breton favourites, Spirituals, singalongs, hymns, St. David's Hall. Donation at the door. Tea and oatcakes. Sponsored by Starlight Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

SYDNEY

° 9-10 a.m. Seniors swimming, Kiwanis Pool, Prince Street. Phone the Kiwanis Pool for information.
