Lint Sells Doggy Cookies Twice a Week in Parrsboro
PARRSBORO-The summer might be winding down, but Bert Lint continues to sell his homemade doggy treats twice a week in Parrsboro in support of the Parrsboro Dog Park and Kennel initiative started by Taylor Redmond.
This past Saturday, Lint set up shop outside of the Sweet Brier Boutique. Like Bruce Graham and his new book, Lint too ran out of doggy cookies.
Another $1,200.00 is needed for an additional kennel and fencing.
"While it won't happend until the spring, we'll be ready by then," stated Lint. Students will also be donating their time to dog walk next year for $5.00/half hour, which is a very good deal," he added. "After expenses, we currently have a net profit of $662.00 toward the dog park/kennel."
Normally, Lint is set up inside the old Parrsboro post office from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Saturdays.
The local market also runs from 10 am-1pm on Fridays.
As for Lint, he can also be found selling his Doggy Treats Wednesday afternoons in downtown Parrsboro.
