Teen robs Lower Sackville convenience store

HALIFAX - The RCMP say a teen claiming to be armed robbed the Needs Convenience Store on First Lake Drive in Lower Sackville on Monday morning.

The robbery happened at 7:16 a.m. when police say the male entered the store, told the clerk he had a weapon and demanded cash. He fled with an unknown amount of money and smokes. No one was injured.

Police describe the suspect as a male between the ages of 15 and 18. He was white, about five-foot-10 and was wearing a brown hoodie with white designs, a ball cap, jeans, white sneakers and a backpack.

A female was also seen with the male. She is described as being between the ages of 14 and 16.
