Starting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, and continuing for four to six weeks after, work will be done to freshen up the Halifax Ferry Terminal pontoon with a new coat of paint.
According to HRM, the "pontoon is the floating structure where the ferries berth."
Spokesperson Janet Bryson says the work is part of regularly scheduled maintenance.
The city advises travellers that there may be noise, dust and possible fumes associated with the work.
HRM apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
