Salad Supper & Blueberry Fest
4 to 6 p.m. All-you-can-east salade at Charman Community Hall, Wallace. Proceeds for St. John’s United Church.
Bake Sale and Flea Market
9 a.m. to noon at River Philip Hall. Sponsored by River Philip United Church Women.
Concert in the Park
7 p.m. at the Parrsboro Bandstand. Donations appreciated, to be donated to musicians’ charity of choice.
TaeKwon-Do Fun Run
8:30 a.m. 10K run begins, 5K run begins at 9 a.m. and 3K family walk begins at 10:15 a.m. At Dickey Park. Proceeds to support Amherst & Area TaeKwon-Do Parents Association that assists students travelling to major competitions.
1 p.m. registration begins followed by play at 1:30 p.m. at the Amherst 50+ Club, 52 Croft St., Amherst. Please bring a partner.
Sunday Evening Service
7:30 p.m. last Sunday evening service for summer at Warren Baptist Church featuring speaker Shelley Trenholm and music by Nancy Mooney and Kevin Dupuis.
ATV Fun Run
10 a.m. at Fenwick riding park, hosted by Cumberland County Riders ATV Club.
2-4 p.m. kickoff of The Sea, an exhibition of paintings, woodcuts and photographs by Mathew and Maria Aldred of Shiminimcas at the Tidnish Bridge Art Gallery. Exhibit runs ntil Sept. 7.
