After six years at the helm of the Swift Current and District Chamber of Commerce, CEO Jennifer Lyster has announced she is stepping down from her position effective Sept. 17.
Lyster plans to return to Kamloops, BC to be closer to her family and to pursue other business opportunities.
"Jennifer embodies the spirit of the Chamber and will sincerely be missed by the Board of Directors and those she has worked with in our community," stated a press release announcing the change.
The board and executive committee are currently working with Lyster to manage the Chamber's transition process.
Recruitment efforts have now begun to find a replacement for Lyster.
