SOUTH BAR — Four people were sent to hospital early Saturday evening following a single-vehicle accident on the South Bar Highway.
Cape Breton Regional Police Staff Sgt. Ken O'Neill said officers responded to the scene around 6:55 p.m. Saturday.
"Upon arrival, a lone vehicle was found on its roof in the middle of the road. One male and three females were injured in the car," he said.
The four people from the Sydney area — ranging in age from 17 to 21 — were transported by EHS paramedics to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, with injuries ranging from minor to serious.
An update on the condition of the four people was not available Sunday, but O'Neill said all are expected to recover from their injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by police.
