I can't attend Armstrong's meetings so I hope someone will ask him why he opposed a bill that would have allowed Canada's poorest senior citizens to withdraw $2,500 from an RRSP, tax free, to prepay their funeral expenses. And ask him why he falsely claimed in the House of Commons that "Poverty among seniors is now at an all-time low..." Both Statistics Canada and the Conference Board of Canada determined that the opposite is true, that seniors are falling behind under Harper's Conservative government- especially elderly, single females.
