AULAC, N.B. – Are you a history or duck enthusiast? Then Aulac, N.B. is the place for you Saturday, July 20 as Parks Canada celebrates Parks Day at Fort Beauséjour – Fort Cumberland National Historic Site. Across the marsh, Ducks Unlimited celebrates Duck Day at the Beaubassin Research Station.
On July 20, Parks Canada invites visitors to come discover Fort Beauséjour – Fort Cumberland National Historic Site, and enjoy the site on Parks Day.
Special activities will include free cake, free tree seedlings for planting, and a Scavenger Hunt for kids.
While enjoying the great activities at the fort, take advantage of nearby activities at the Beaubassin Research Centre in Aulac for Duck Day, a Ducks Unlimited 75th Anniversary Celebration.
It will be hosting a free barbecue, retriever demonstrations, canoe rides, nature walks, critter dipping and other fun activities.
Activities run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
