Arrest in disappearance of Petit-de-Grat man

The RCMP Northeast Nova Major Crimes Unit arrested a Petit-de-Grat man earlier today.

The 40-year-old man was arrested in Petit-de-Grat, without incident, in relation to the disappearance of Phillip Boudreau. 

On Saturday, June 1st at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Richmond County RCMP Detachment responded to a report of an overturned boat that was found at the mouth of Petit-de-Grat harbour. Preliminary investigation determined that Boudreau, 43, was last seen that morning at approximately 6:00 a.m.  

Efforts to locate Boudreau's body continue. Richmond County RCMP, RCMP 'H' Division Underwater Recovery Team, and the Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue are participating in the search.
