Here are the complete auction results (the order in which they were sold was determined by judges earlier on in the day at the Maritime Beef Test Station in Nappan): Grand champion steer, 1,215 lbs.-Owned by Doug and Jennifer Trenholm. Sold to Casey Concrete Ltd (Casey Group) for $7,200; Runner-up: Superstore; Reserve champion, 1,375 lbs.: Owned by Thunderbrook Farms. Sold to Fort Equipment for $3,720; 3rd place: 1,215 lbs. Owned by Springwater Farms, George D'Orsay & Earl Cail. Sold to Cumberland Reality-Rod Gilroy & Andrew Gilroy, Blue line and New Holland for $4,440.00; 4th place: 1,360 lbs. Owned by Susan Collins. A grand total of $51,579.75 was raised by the cattle auction.
