The Colchester RCMP and firefighters with the Bible Hill Fire Brigade responded to the call in the rear parking lot at Foodland at about 3:45 p.m.

The Oxford man was uncooperative at the scene and assaulted an officer.

When put in the back of the police cruiser, officers said he kicked one of the vehicle windows out. They believe he had been drinking at the time.
