The North Cumberland Collaborative Emergency Centre will have a temporary change in service on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
PUGWASH – The Cumberland Health Authority is advising the public there will be a temporary change of service at the North Cumberland Collaborative Emergency Centre in Pugwash on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be no physician available to provide emergency medical coverage during the 12-hour period, but the primary health care clinic will remain open during those hours and a nurse practitioner will be available to see patients with non-emergency health care issues.
The overnight coverage, from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., provided by the paramedic/registered nurse/oversight physician team will be available as usual.
Anyone with an emergency is urged to call 911, while general health concerns can be addressed by calling 811.
