Christopher Falconer is accused of killing Amber Kirwan. His preliminary inquiry continues today.

Christopher Falconer will make his first appearance in Supreme Court on March 21 in Pictou.


The 30 year old Pictou County man has been committed to stand trial in Supreme Court in front of judge and jury following his preliminary inquiry that wrapped up this morning.  


He is charged with first degree murder and kidnapping in the death of Amber Kirwan.


The preliminary inquiry for Christopher Falconer is starting a half hour late.  No specific reason was given for the delay. 

Witness 25 is taking the stand. The inquiry is expected to wrap up today.  A date will be selected for Supreme Court following the inquiry where Falconer is expected to enter an election and plea.

The courtroom galley is full today.

Falconer is charged with kidnapping and murdering 19-year-old Amber Kirwan.
