Cocaine, handgun seized by RCMP

AMHRST – Two males were arrested Friday afternoon at the Amherst train station. Members of the RCMP Federal Drug Section and Cumberland Street Crime Enforcement United seized approximately 320 grams of crack cocaine and a loaded 40-caliber handgun.

The two individuals, a 24 year-old man and a 16 year-old youth, were remanded into custody. The pair, both from the Toronto area, will appear in Amherst Provincial Court Feb. 25 for a show cause hearing.
