AMHERST - Museum curator Diane Shaw is excited about the newest addition to the Cumberland County Museum and Archives. The museum is celebrating African Heritage month, throughout the month of February, with the traveling exhibit ‘Somebody Else’s Kitchen’, produced in part by Darlene Strong with support from the Office of African Nova Scotia Affairs, Spicer Graphic Design and the Town of Amherst.

The exhibit is a tribute to women who worked in the kitchens of others while managing their own families. The exhibit showcases 10 panels, walking through 200 years of black history.
