OXFORD - The Oxford Fire Department hosted their Winter Carnival Opener Saturday at the Oxford Arena.

Jillian Gordon opened up the evening with a figure skating performance before the Fun League, made up of five-to-nine-year olds, took to the ice to face off against the fire department.

Children were able to dress up for the carnival and had the chance to win prizes during their costume contest and Susan Jennings crowned the carnival's Prince and Princess.
