Icy roads keeping first responders, tow trucks busy

Calls to the RCMP are coming in fast and furious with regards to cars sliding off roads throughout Cumberland County Wednesday afternoon, including this car that slid off the road in West Leicester, on Highway 204 between Amherst and Oxford. Nobody was seriously injured in the single vehicle collision that happened at about 12:30 p.m. but the car sustained damage after hitting a culvert.

Why did the school board choose to keep schools open, buses and kids on the roads today when we knew we were getting freezing rain. There are accidents all over the county. Poor decision CCRSB.... Very Poor!!!
