Police identify missing woman as former Amherst resident

The body of 31-year-old Robin Armstrong was found in Halifax harbour near the Macdonald Bridge early Wednesday. She grew up in Amherst.

HALIFAX – Police in Halifax have identified a body found early Wednesday in the water near the Macdonald Bridge.

Robin Armstrong, 31, had been missing since Friday when she failed to return to her residence.

Police do not believe foul play was involved.

Armstrong grew up in Amherst, where her parents taught at Amherst Regional High School.

I think that the paper is incorrect. Robin's om taught a RB Dickey and her stepfather taught at ARHS
