Police department closing to walk-in traffic

AMHERST – The Amherst Police Department will be closed to walk-in traffic for 16 hours beginning Wednesday night.

The department will be closed starting at 8 p.m. and reopening at noon on Thursday.

Anyone requiring assistance can call 667-8600. If there’s an emergency, call 911.
