Cold end to week predicted

Eighteen years as a crossing guard. Brenda Burns has seen some chilly mornings.

“When I first started, I almost froze,” said Burns this morning.

The weather office is calling for a high today of -2 degrees Celsius, which is fairly representative of the forecast for the rest of the week, with the exception of Friday: -11 degrees Celsius is predicted, with a low of -23.
