TATAMAGOUCHE – A local landmark and unique tourism destination here is once again finding itself in the television spotlight.

An American TV production company arrived at the Train Station Inn on Thursday morning and will spend the next two days filming footage about the unusual residence.

“They are highlighting things where the station master used to live upstairs, because it is a residence, and that’s what they are focusing on is residences in unusual buildings,” said Jimmie LeFresne, owner of the inn and station master. “And they call the Tatamagouche Train Station, a railway depot and to them that is an unusual place to live.”

AMS Pictures is filming the footage for an episode of the HGTV series You Live in What? set to air on the network later this spring.

The rural inn has been featured on film in the past in documentaries, at least two music videos, two reality TV series, a cooking show and a movie.

Unique yes, but is anyone getting tired of Tatamagouche being known just for the Train Station Inn; there are so many other interesting and noteworthy places in Tatamagouche. Tatamagouche is so much more than the Train Station Inn.

Congrats once again. Tatamagouche is such an unique place as you would expect in the Maritimes.
