Police investigating damage to tires

Amherst Police are investigating the slashing of more than a dozen tires on eight vehicles in the Kent Drive, Cornwall Street areas overnight Monday.

AMHERST – Amherst Police are continuing to investigate damage to vehicles in the Kent Drive and Cornwall Street areas overnight Monday.

More than a dozen tires on eight vehicles were slashed between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 667-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
