Three Brookdale residents have been charged with theft and damage to property following an investigation by Amherst Police and the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit.
AMHERST – Two adults and a young person have been arrested and charged by Amherst Police and the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit following a rash of property thefts and damage to property in the Amherst area.
A vehicle was also seized during the apprehension of the three individuals.
Arrested were a 21-year-old Brookdale man, a 23-year-old Brookdale woman and a 17-year-old Brookdale man.
All three will appear in provincial court in January 2013.
The thefts involved Christmas ornaments, solar lights and other yard decorations.
Damage to property involved vehicles at a local car dealership and two private residents.
