Last day to deliver new toys is Friday

Jean Miller and Glenn Robertson hold one of the many awesome toys that are being delivered to kids ahead of Christmas as part of the Toys for Tots campaign.

AMHERST – Toyota is delivering tons of toys to Christmas for Kids today at the Amherst Centre Mall. Christmas for Kids Jean Miller stopped by Toyota today before Glenn Robertson and the rest of the Toyota team delivered the toys.

Millers said there are more kids than there are toys, so they need more toys. Anybody wanting to donate a toy can drop them off at Amherst Centre Mall in the office located outside between Sobey’s and Shoppers Drug Mart. They are accepting new toys until Friday but are closed after that. DAVE MATHIESON – AMHERST DAILY NEWS

I am sorry, but some of us cannot afford to give any more. That is most likely why the need id higher. With all the costs of everyday items going up, it makes it harder and harder to give to organizations. I would love to give, but it is absolutely impossible this year. I have to pay bills and buy groceries or I along with others will end up on the same needing list.
